John does it, now I want to do it too. Blog that is. I don't have huge hopes for this blog other than a means to vent some frustration, share some joy and keep track of my games, especially tournament play.
I've been playing war games since the age of 13. For those of you bad at math that's 18 years. I don't want to even begin to think on how much money I've blown on tiny metal men and their accompanying implements of destruction. All I know is that I'm hooked. I love the mental exercise and competitiveness that gaming provides. It's a great way to get together with friends and blow off some steam from a long work week.
My wife, bless her heart, is still trying to accept the fact that her husband is a nerd. I'm OK with that. She has her passions, I have mine. What I love is that she cheers me on and supports my habit. I love that woman!
Here's to a long future of gaming. Please feel free to comment, and provide constructive input. Unconstructive input is fine too, that's pretty much all I am capable of.
